Missions

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. (James 1:27, ESV)

Ministry Outreach is a vital part of the BCS Experience

  • Elementary students raise donations for local and international ministries.
  • Junior High Students serve the community and churches through cleaning yards, painting and various household chores
  • High School Students outreach is varied.
  • Each student performs service as part of Bible Class. Over 8,000 hours are served within the school year.
  • Summer service includes ministry in Vacation Bible Schools, Camp Counselors, Inner City Projects, and Discipleship Leaders. Students have served internationally in many countries.
  • BCSSM (Briarwood Christian School Student Missions) began in 2001. Through 2016, 2,261 conversions to Christ have been made. BCSSM is both in the United States and in announced locations in Central America. The international outreach includes a medical, dental and eye clinic, construction support, ministry to children, missionaries and Christian educators, all for purpose of presenting Christ to a lost world. “People Need the Lord.”

We are blessed that we might be a blessing to others.
