“We live in the shade of trees we did not plant.”
Dear Parents, Grandparents, Alumni, and Friends:
We continue to be humbled and amazed at God’s goodness and faithfulness to Briarwood Christian School. If one spends a moment at our north or south campus, it becomes evident that His Spirit is alive and at work in the hearts, minds, and lives of our students.
This year, one out of five Briarwood High School students applied for a BCS mission trip during spring break or summer vacation. This unprecedented number is a wonderful testimony of God’s work in the lives of our students. We are also grateful that many junior high and elementary students are mission-minded and already desire to serve the Lord. Our hope is that as students enter the next stage of their lives, they will leave Briarwood having developed a life-long love for learning, grounded in the joy of the Lord and the values of His kingdom.
During this Christmas season, as we consider how God has blessed and provided for Briarwood through the contributions and sacrifices of so many, our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude for the Lord’s provision. As we continue to strive to provide an exemplary K-12 Christian school education, there are strategic needs that still need to be met, including scholarship funds for families that are experiencing financial needs as well as improvements to our facilities.
There are many ways to contribute to our school and every contribution makes a difference in the lives of our students. As we seek to fulfill this ministry of Christian education, we ask that you join the members of the Briarwood Christian School Board and prayerfully consider a year-end gift to Briarwood Christian School. Simply send your contribution to Briarwood Christian School, Business Office, 2204 Briarwood Way, Birmingham, AL, 35242, or use the link below to send your gift online. All gifts must be received by Dec. 31, 2017, to be included in your charitable giving for 2017.
Thank you for your faithful support.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas season,
Advancement Chair, on behalf of the Briarwood Christian School Board
